What will you do with my info (e.g. my Twitter ID etc.)
In a nutshell, nothing really. We don’t sell it or share it. It is only used to keep your account active and ensure you are able to receive messages via Twitter. Click here for our privacy policy.
Are you part of Twitter?
No. We are a separate company. We use Twitter as the platform to send the text messages for the jobs posted on our site.
What is a Tweet?
A tweet is simply a message posted on Twitter. It has to be 140 characters or less, since that’s the maximum length of a text message on your cell phone.
Why should I use this service to look for a job?
TweetMyJobs enables you to receive INSTANT notification on your cell phone when a job you may be interested is available. It also makes it very easy for you to get jobs only that you are interested in rather than having to find and follow possibly hundreds of company channels.
What if I have a job?
Good for you! However, it never hurts to look.
Can I forward job notifications to friends?
Please do! We have a refer-a-friend option. Your friends will thank you.

Not a problem. You can either find the jobs posted on your subscribed Job Channels in the Jobs tab at TweetMyJOBS, or on your message list at Twitter.
Can my job notification be sent to an email address?
Sure. By default, you will get a daily email with all the jobs tweeted in the last 24 hours for the Job Channels you follow.
What is the cost?
TweetMyJobs.com is FREE for job seekers. How cool is that? Check with your cell phone provider for text messaging charges.
What if I want to stop receiving job notifications?
Not a problem. Simply log into Twitter, click on “Following”, and for each "TMJ_" account you are following, click the drop-down next to the gear icon, and click the icon that looks like a little cellphone to turn off device notification for this account.
What if I want to delete my account?
We hate to see you go, but if you want us to delete your account, you can click the 'Delete Account' link on your Account tab.
What if I am not in the United States?
Check with your cell phone service provider. We have many users in other countries that are actively using the service.

Job Posters
How does the service work?
We take the noise out of Twitter. We have built and manage 9,556 Vertical Job Channels on Twitter, which are industry and location specific. You can post a job on any one of the channels, and job seekers interested in that content will automatically get the job sent to their cell phone via Twitter.
My company has many jobs on its career board. How do I upload them to TweetMyJOBS.com?
We have built our sytem to get your job data every technical way feasible. XML, FTP, HTTP POST, ATS integration, scrape, smoke signals, we can do it all. Let us know how your data is stored, and we’ll be happy to work with you.
Are you part of Twitter?
No. We are a separate company. We use Twitter as the platform to send the text messages for the jobs posted on our site.
What will you do with my information?
In a nutshell, nothing really. We don’t sell it or share it. It is only used to keep your account active and ensure you are able to receive messages via Twitter. Click here for our privacy policy.
Why should I use your service?
Do you like to save money? Do you want to reach interested job candidates? Do you have jobs that need to be filled quickly? Do you want to be part of the Twitter explosion so job candidates know you are a hip and cool company but don’t want to spend a lot of time and resources figuring out how to do that? If you answered yes to any of these TweetMyJobs.com is perfect for you.
What makes you different?
We focus on two primary areas. First, jobs that need to be filled quickly and second, helping companies take advantage of the power of Twitter in a cost effectively and quickly.
What is the cost?
Depending on the number of jobs you have to post, you can either purchase job postings individually, or purchase one of our subscription plans. Please see our pricing page for more information.
Can I resubmit postings?
Yes. You can either re-tweet or, when the time period expires, post the job again.
What if I want to remove a posting?
In the “Post a Job” tab, simply click on the “Deactivate” button, and the posting will become inactive.
How do I know if the service is helping me and my business?
We keep track of all views by a job seeker, as well as all job referrals, and report that to you daily. We also keep track of ‘refer-a-friend’ referrals. We will soon have an “apply” feature, where job seekers can apply to your job directly from the TweetMyJOBS site.
Does my company have to be in the United States?
No. You can post jobs from anywhere in the world with internet access.
Why do the jobs have so many labels with a “#”?
Words on Twitter that have the “#” prefix are called Hashtags. They are keywords that enables searchability for messages that are related. We insert hashtags for the Job Category, Location, and TweetMyJOBS, which will get your job posting more visibility.
I posted a job on the wrong job channel. How do I fix it?
Simple. Deactivate the job by clicking the ‘minus’ sign next to the job. Then edit the job in the ‘inactive jobs’ list, select a new channel, and repost it by clicking the ‘plus’ sign next to the job.
