Our team members have the opportunity to be involved in large, multi-discipline projects while developing diverse skill sets working with our company's Construction Management and Construction Engineering experts. Resident Engineer on large, multi year road and bridge contracts with ConnDOT located throughout Connecticut. Duties and responsibilities: .Interface with Client Project Manager on all facets of the project .Manage inspection staff, including sub-consultants .Check daily reports, quantity calculations, and reports prepared by staff .Prepare project status/progress reports, project correspondence, construction pay estimates and construction orders .Negotiate construction orders .Review and Process Contract submittals .Prepare project proposals/presentations .Prepare/monitor project budget and schedule Education and experience requirements: .BS in Engineering with a PE license .Minimum ten years experience as a construction professional with at least five years as a Resident or Assistant Resident Engineer working on ConnDOT projects. Thorough understanding of Site Manager required. .ACI Field Testing Technician - Grade I certification; NETTCP CI and HMAPI certifications preferred.
