Description
As the Administrative Assistant IV, you will provide a high level of administrative support to the Regulatory Affairs team. Judgment, initiative, confidentiality, work ethic, quality, and the ability to meet deadlines are of prime importance. You will be required to perform at a high level of competency and independence. Responsibilities may involve interacting with and supporting staff, preparing reports and department financial data, maintaining filing systems, processing invoices, arranging meetings, managing calendars and email, making travel arrangements, preparing electronic presentations and spreadsheets, as well as formatting and filing regulatory documents. This position requires flexibility, excellent customer service and the ability to work with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
You will be responsible for personal safety, and that of coworkers, by observing and ensuring compliance with all Occupational Health and Safety Rules and Regulations. You will be accountable for environmental performance as it relates to the environmental management system processes and initiatives.
Skills, Capabilities and Experience: Our ideal candidate offers a Grade XII education and 5 plus years of administrative support experience, preferably in a corporate environment. Post secondary education in Office Administration or Business is preferred.
You are a highly professional, detailed-oriented individual. You work well under pressure and have experience managing itineraries and calendars. You possess excellent time management and organizational skills with the strong ability to multi-task. You are an enthusiastic self-starter. Your interpersonal skills are strong and you are poised, professional and thorough. Strong written and communications skills are essential. Strong computer skills, specifically with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) are required. Oracle and Peoplesoft knowledge would be an asset. You must demonstrate your commitment to personal development.
