Description:
Parsons Brinckerhoff's Hydro Power Group is seeking qualified candidates for asenior level Structural/Hydraulic Engineerlocated in the downtownBostonoffice.
The Sr. Structural and Hydraulic engineer position will be responsible for the following tasks:
- Preparation or review of structural or hydraulic calculations, design criteria documents or studies,
- Preparation or review of field work plans, construction activities, schedules, and cost estimates,
- Preparation of construction and bid specifications,
- Review of drawings and figures for meetings and reports,
- Preparation or review of written reports, and license and permit applications,
- Evaluation of existing structures, facilities and sites, and
- Other structural and hydraulic engineering tasks to support project requirements, and working with other consultants and project representatives.
Requirements:
-Qualified candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in engineering, with at least 8-15 years experience.
-Candidate must have working knowledge of structural or hydrologic analysis software.
-Registered professional engineers who have direct experience with various types of hydroelectric projects or facilities are preferred.
-Candidate must be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, preferably Word and Excel.
-Must possess excellent written and communication skills.
