Overview:
The Systems Engineering Group of QinetiQ North America delivers systems engineering and integration, software development, logistics information management, training systems management, information technology services, and test and evaluation support for the development, modification, fielding and sustainment of military equipment and systems. Responsibilities:
Ensure each Marine Corps Integrated Systems Technology Center (MLISTC) has a common set of courseware and POIs which will be used throughout the Marine Corps for instructional purposes. Duties include POI and scenario management, dissemination, and updating existing POIs. POI management may include writing POIs, and consolidating POIs for centralized supervision and management by C2 TECOE. Will be able to install, configure, operate and troubleshoot Windows SharePoint Portal Services, Windows SharePoint Team Services and Windows Exchange 2003 Server. Courses of instruction may include, but are not limited to: basic Share Point services and operator course, instruction on creating and maintaining websites using Windows SharePoint Team Services, basic Share Point site design, site and portal administration using Windows SharePoint Team Services and Portal Services. Must also manage web content using Microsoft Server 2003 Internet Information Services {ITS), SQL server, Java controls, Active Directory, ActiveX Controls, Cascading Style Sheets and extensible Mark-up Language (XML) for assigned units, or as directed by C2 TECOE. Provide subject matter expertise support on Microsoft SharePoint during exercises and training practical application to validate training curriculum. Will travel to conduct on-site instruction and technical assistance on SharePoint Team Services, Portal Services and Exchange 2003 Server as required.
Qualifications:
* Education/Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent. Microsoft Certified System Administrator (MCSA) is desired. SharePoint operator and systems administration course work within the past two years.
* Military Education. Recent OIF/OEF experience performing the above duties preferred, particularly creating and maintaining websites using Windows SharePoint Team Services, and managing unit level input, and changes.
* Military / Government Experience. Three years experience with Microsoft SharePoint Team Services, Portal Services and Microsoft Exchange 2003 Server software. Instructor certified by service school or civilian equivalent with two years as a classroom instructor is desired. Possess excellent oral and written skills. Instructional Systems Design (ISD) curriculum development experience desired. Direct participation in real world operations is required, direct participation in OIF/OEF is desired and should receive preference over other candidates.
