“Many companies are struggling with brand recognition when posting jobs, because they have to work within the character limitations of Twitter Tweets,” says Gary Zukowski, Founder of TweetMyJOBS, referring to the fact that a Twitter Tweet can only contain 140 characters. “This new service allows companies to get the needed information to job candidates while also promoting their brand and presence on Twitter.”
The process is simple. TweetMyJOBS works with companies to determine what graphic would be best to include and automatically includes the image in all postings sent to job seekers. While a logo is the most obvious choice, TweetMyJOBS will help determine a strategy that will best help companies ‘make their mark’ on Twitter, thus the name of the service.
“One hundred forty characters is not a lot,” adds Zukowski. “But as they say, a picture says a thousand words. We want to help companies with their overall social media strategy and promote their brand as well. This service does that.”
